The KRT-HP-680 row seeding line is a modular line ideal for medium/small productions, capable of seeding up to 600plate/hour
It is suitable for all types of trays: polystyrene, thermoformed and rigid injection molded plastic. Depending on the type used, a distributor is available that allows the automatic insertion of empty containers in the line.
The tray filler guarantees excellent coverage uniformity for all the cells and the ability to adjust the final density of the soil.
 

In the compact seeder the containers advance on a PVC conveyor belt and the electronically-synchronised seeding mechanism is operated by a seeding bar that suctions the seed and deposits it in a precise and homogeneous way in the cells, row by row In the same process, a hole is also made in which the seed is accurately placed in the centre of the cell and at the correct depth.

CHILIL Nursery bed management 

1.temperature. Before emergence: Generally, there is no ventilation during the day, and the temperature is controlled above 10 ºC at night; After emergence: After 70% of the seeds are exposed in the seedbed, remove the plastic film in a timely manner. When the temperature rises, gradually ventilate, remove moisture, and cool down to prevent high-temperature seedling burning. The temperature is controlled between 25 ºC -30 ºC during the day and 12-15 ºC at night.

2.Moisture. When sowing, sufficient bottom water should be poured. Generally, no water should be added before emergence. When 2-3 true leaves of seedlings are planted, appropriate water should be added according to the weather and the dry and wet conditions of the seedbed. (3) Pull out the grass and plant seedlings. Timely removal of weeds in seedbeds can improve lighting, facilitate ventilation and light transmission, and reduce the occurrence of diseases and pests. For areas with dense growth, thinning or transplanting should be carried out.

 

3.Breeze and train seedlings. During the first half of the planting period, it is necessary to conduct wind and seedling training. The temperature during the day should be reduced to 20 ºC, and at night it should be 12-15 ºC. Water management requires both dry and wet conditions. Seedling cultivation is divided into three stages, each lasting approximately 5 days.

 Phase 1: Small mouth ventilation during the day, closed at night;
Phase 2: Gradually increase the air vent, ventilate the surroundings of the shed, and close it at night; The third stage: adopt good ventilation on cloudy days and half ventilation on sunny days, with the surroundings open and not closed at night, so that the seedlings gradually adapt to the external growth environment and improve the survival rate of transplantation. After the seedlings are trained, they should be watered thoroughly the day before planting.

4.Prevention and Control of Diseases and Pests

(1.)Diseases: Common diseases during the seedling stage of chili peppers include sudden death and withering. Suddenness can be controlled by 800 times liquid of 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder or 800 times liquid of 25% metalaxyl wettable powder spray; Rhizoctonia solani can be controlled by spray 500 times of 40% thiophanate methyl suspension or 450 times of 15% oxamycin aqueous solution, or the same type of smoke pesticide can be fumigated in closed shed at night.

(2) Pest infestation: During the seedling stage of chili peppers, it is mainly the prevention and control of underground pests. The main underground pests include ground tigers, mole crickets, grubs, and golden needles. The best prevention and control method is to sprinkle phoxim particles into the soil of the seedbed during the production of the seedbed, and to prevent strong seedlings from leaving the nursery. The standard for strong chili seedlings is generally 70-90 days old, with a plant height of 16-22 centimeters, a thick stem, short internodes, and a stem thickness of 0.3 centimeters or more. It has 8-11 true leaves, intact cotyledons, dark green true leaves, large and thick leaves, free from pests and diseases, and a well-developed root system with strong vitality.
